How does Bloomy identify plants?

Bloomy uses advanced AI (Google Gemini) to analyze photos of plants. When you take a picture, our AI model compares it against a database of over 400,000 known plant species to find the best match.

Do I need an account to use the app?

No! Bloomy works completely without an account. You can scan and identify plants as a guest. Creating an account (via Apple or Google Sign-In) enables cloud sync so your collection is preserved across devices.

How many free scans do I get?

Free users receive 3 plant identifications per period. Scans refresh automatically. Upgrade to Bloomy Pro for unlimited identifications.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your Bloomy Pro subscription anytime through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Bloomy. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is the plant identification always accurate?

While Bloomy's AI is highly accurate, it's not perfect. Results are for educational and informational purposes. Never consume a plant or use it medicinally based solely on an app identification. Always consult an expert for critical identifications.

Can I scan plants from photos in my gallery?

Yes! You can use the camera to scan in real-time, or upload any photo from your gallery. The AI works equally well with both methods.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to the Settings tab in the app, scroll down, and tap 'Delete Account'. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data including your plant collection and photos.

Does Bloomy work offline?

Plant identification requires an internet connection since the AI processing happens on our servers. However, you can view your previously identified plants offline from your local collection.
